The Goal: Clarity, Not Perfection
A young professional came to see me at the clinic struggling with "post-inflammatory pigmentation" -the dark marks left behind after acne had cleared and a rough, uneven texture that made his skin look dull. He had tried masks, scrubs, and various home remedies, but the unevenness remained.
I advised him that we weren't going to "bleach" his skin. Instead, we would use a clinical peel to accelerate his skin’s own natural turnover. We set a realistic target: a 4-week protocol to clarify his skin tone and refine the texture.
The 4-Week Progress Log

Dr. Ishtiak’s Clinical Perspective
People often think a peel is just "applying a liquid." But look at this journey. In Week 1, the goal is to trigger the shed. In Week 2, we are focused entirely on barrier protection - this is when the new, sensitive skin emerges. By Week 3 and 4, we see the results of that renewal.
The patient was disciplined about two things: he never skipped his sunscreen, and he followed my hydration protocol. Without those two steps, this peel could have caused more harm than good. That is the difference between a clinical treatment and a DIY project.
